Mathias Laboratory, Smithsonian Environmental Research Center

To get to the Mathias Laboratory, drive through the entrance gate and pass the first stop sign. At the second stop sign (a three-way stop), turn right and park in the gravel lot. The Mathias Lab is a large, white, glass-walled building located behind a circular driveway. Cross the garden that is next to the gravel parking lot and go toward the right to enter the lab.
